CertCare is a regulatory compliance management software built for regulated manufacturers. It creates a centralised, authoritative record for component and product compliance — fully traceable, audit-ready and connected to your existing systems. CertCare is Swiss made software.
CertCare is used for food contact materials, electronic devices, chemical traceability and geographical traceability. It is designed to adapt: if your business operates under regulatory requirements, we can explore together how CertCare can work for you.
CertCare supports EU, US, CN and global regulations, and can manage several regulations for the same component or product at once. There’s no predefined regulation, it is up to your needs how your instance is configured.
No, it is not an AI agent. CertCare is a software with some features supported by external AI services. The connection can be switched off, which limits functionality, or can be rerouted to the AI model of your choice.
CertCare Essentials is the required core. Then you add only the modules relevant to your way of working: Audit Cockpit, Vendor Portal, Performance Cockpit and Integration Cockpit.
No, there’s no downloadable desktop application. It works via any web browser, such as Chrome, Edge, Brave, Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc.
Yes, it is possible to set up standard API connections and allow bidirectional communication. See the Integration Cockpit for details.
No. The Vendor Portal gives suppliers a secure, dedicated space to upload evidence, respond to requests and track their own compliance status, with built-in messaging and automated email workflows.
The Audit Cockpit filters and displays only the evidence your auditor needs, in a few clicks. Every document is timestamped, versioned and traceable.
There’s no technical limitation; you may store as much data as you want. However, some data types are limited depending on the package you are using.
The data belongs to the licence holder. Admin users can export their data from CertCare at any time. In case of termination of service, CertCare will not retain any data from the instance.
Data is stored on servers located in the EU or Switzerland.
Not necessarily. You can decide not to allow CertCare’s team to access your instance’s operational data. In this case we see only system performance information. However, granting user-level access to CertCare’s support team can facilitate troubleshooting.
The Terms & Conditions include a non-disclosure clause that obliges CertCare not to share any information with third parties without your consent.
Yes, there’s a daily backup of the full system. An instance can be fully restored from such a backup.
CertCare is hosted on servers that are ISO 27001:2017 certified. Data is protected with TLS 1.2 and AES encryption, and the platform maintains 99%+ availability.
Yes. See our privacy policy for details on how we handle personal data.
Creating a new instance takes a few hours at most. What takes more time is the adaptation and personalisation to your needs, such as setting up integrations, uploading master data, creating users, etc. If all criteria are known and the data is prepared for import, it can be done in 2 to 3 days.
Yes, it is possible. You can do simple data uploads yourself. For complex data structures, CertCare can support you or do the migration for you.
Book a free 15-minute demo tailored to your regulatory scope. You may have access to a demo instance for a week or two to get a hands on experience before committing yourself.
You do not need to cancel; it is enough not to renew your subscription. At the end of the paid licence period, you’ll have an additional two weeks with read-only access, during which you can still download your data but cannot create new compliance data. After this grace period, you’ll lose your access and your instance will be deleted.
